Hey all,

I dusted off my 1977 merc 110 and couldn't get it started. Opened the hood and noticed that one of the wires had rotted off the switch box. I've got Fred Fisher on the case, trying to solder the connection to a new wire but it's only 50/50 that it might work.
Does anyone know of any places in Quinte that might have this part? I called Bay Marine and the part is discontinued and their suggestion was to find a wrecker....

Thanks Charlie! Thankfully Fred and his soldering iron got the job done so we are good but since parts for this outboard are hard to come by, I appreciate the tip!

Thanks, I got it running and had it out on East Lake last night, spinning like a champ.
