Quinte Fishing

Hello everyone,

I am starting a fishing team at the high school I teach at and was hoping that some people may be able to help us out. We are starting with ice fishing and plan on going in a local high school derby in February. If everything works out we may enter an on shore derby in the spring (if so I will post another message). As for right now we are in need of anything people are willing to donate for the ice fishing season. Most students have never ice fished before. I have a cpl huts I have bought on Kijiji and through the forum as well as rods, etc. We may also need helpers if anybody with fishing experience wanted to volunteer their time to join us for a practice or two before the derby. You would have to have an updated criminal record check.

If anybody can help please let me know. I can pick up any donations or you can drop them off at the school.

We will also be meeting once a week to discuss techniques, talk fishing, fund raising, etc. if anybody has any good resources websites, guest speakers or demonstrations we would love the help.

Well I have been an ice guide for right around 10 yrs and could possibly help out in some way for sure.
