I used 2 x 1/2 inch uhmw .I drilled and bent it with a heat gun , any fab shop should have this its fairly cheap too . My sled will be good for years now.

I believe you can buy Teflon at home depot/lowes. Cut them into the strips that you need. counter sink holes and use a heat gun. You should have runners cheaper then buying pre-made ones.
