Hi I am looking for a portable ice auger , in good condition and fairly cheap. preferably 6 inch blade but will settle for a 4 inch blade. Im located in belleville. Please let me know what you have.

I prefer the portable ones too, those permannent ones are hard to use.

Do they actually make a 4inch auger??? I have seen 6, 8, or 10inch never seen a 4inch

You won't get much of a fish out of a hole that size get an 8 inch at least

I have seen 4 inchers, guys who fish small lakes and ponds near me use them. Hard to find though i think. Sorry bobby but I couldnt resist. At least now guys know you are looking for a hand auger

Hey no worries thanks for pointing that out to me. I have seen 4 inches before. never thought about the 8 inch thought it would be to big for a beginner. if anyone knows of anyfor sale please let me know

u can buy a new 6 or 8 inch hand auger for under 50 dollars. get either 6 or 8. if u get a 4 u will wish u had an a 6 or 8 the 1st time u cant get that moster through the hole. Also if the 4 inch are that hard to find then the replacements blades will be even tougher

ive looked around at canadian tire for hand augers and there up to 70 dollars and thats not in the budget neither is 50 dollars so im looking for a used one that someone has lying around.

I have seen them on clearence at wal mart for 5 buck but I think they may run around 20 you can prolly take the ones on it and have them professionally sharpend
