just wondering if any one is hunting around the mudcat rd area is having as much luck as i am with nothing seen lots of sign in my area but no takers yet

I have hunted the second week down here and we have seen lots of deer during the shotgun and muzzle days.I think we have shot 4 for 6. The first week back north in coe hill was absolutely horrible. Little sign during the moose hunt as well.

Glad to hear someone is seeing deer around here. Everyone I know, including my buddies around Peterborough seems to be shaking their heads this year, myself included.
The couple of deer that were around my place seemed to have moved off now. With this colder weather they should be heading to their winter yard. Time to put away the compound, pick up the crossbow, don heavy parkas and get onto the swamp ice. I like it.
