I received a number of pm's recently asking about a separate hunting forum here. I am not a hunter and infact if you passed me a gun to shoot i'd probably hold it the wrong way and end up killing myself or anybody standing nearby. I'm probably a distant cousin of Dick Cheney. With that in mind I'm hardly the appropiate person to moderate a hunting forum. However, there are alot of hunters here including Dave Bridgewater who goes by the handle "Adventure" and who has promised to give a hand here. Thanks Adventure.
Now let the shooting begin.

Thank you Dan for adding this forum.
Although, it sounds like you should stick to fishing or take some serious lessons BEFORE picking up a gun. Maybe you will pick up some pointers in our new forum.

Please feel free to talk about all different areas of hunting and shooting from turkey hunting in the spring to moose camp in the fall through to late season bowhunting for deer.
Any shooting activities such as skeet, target and reloading are always welcome.

I'm sure in time, there will be discussions on our beloved gun registry program as well as poaching, anti-hunters, and misfortunes. Let's all try to treat each other with respect on these issues if they come up. After all, opinions are like CENSORED, everyone has one.

I hope all the fellow hunters out there use this new forum to share their hunting trips, tips and slips and look forward to hearing the stories, discussions and debates to begin.
I also hope all our fishing friends out there enjoy having something different to talk about or read about as well.

As Dan said, let the shooting begin. Goose and bear season is open after all...

Dave Bridgewater (Adventure)

Thanks Dan, should be fun !!! I have tried training my Beagles to find me some Bass over the last couple of years and that did not work, hard gertting the snorkel and fins on them, so I think they better stick to being deer hounds!!!!!!!!!!! AT LEAST they can find them for me!!
Thanks Again

Hunting has always been a very big part of my life, so I'm excited to be able be part of
new hunting forum, Thank you fellow hunters.
Dan it may not be venison jerky or pepperettes, but if all goes as planned I will gladly
treat you to Moose jerky and pepperettes that I have done every year.
Donn
