Mine's boiling as I type. First time it ran was yesterday for me though. I only have enough for half liter as I haven't got enough buckets out yet. Still waiting for it to run better.
Below freezing again today, but the boys had fun being pulled around on the sled, bringing up the frozen buckets, chopping firewood and getting the fire going. That's what makes it worthwhile for me.

I was surprised actually today I boiled from 1:30 till 7 :30 and then finished what I had and I ended up with 1 3/4 litres of syrup not bad for my first boil of the year. Looks like it is going to run good this week. I hope. LOL

Cool yo got your first batch. I still need a little more to finish off my first one. I was surprised my buckets were dry today. Mind you, I'm on top of a big hill and it's always a couple degrees cooler. I thought that sun would have been warm enough to get it going though.

It was a good running day yesterday. I collected sap this morning and for 22 taps I ended up with 30 gallons of sap. So far I have made 1 3/4 gallons of syrup. It should run good today as well and looks like some more boiling is in order.

Couldn't keep up with the run today. This is a way better year than last year for us. Seems a bit later though.
