This season was by far my most enjoyable since I began waterfowling. Not only because we bagged more ducks than any year previous, but because I hunted with many new faces and many long time friends, but still found the time to reflect that you only get while hunting solo. I was fortunate enough to travel around Southern Ontario and hunt lots of new places. Mid October was the highlight of my season, not because of ducks, but because my little girl was born. With a healthy baby and a very understanding wife, I was still frequented the duck blind as the season wore on. Logan worked wonderfully for with me this season, always eager to wake early and stay out late. He made some incredible retrieves this season, many that I will never forget. I have put together some of my favorite pictures from the 2011 season.

Awesome photos and season. Really like the shots of the dog crashing through the big surf and the one sitting on his treestand in the flooded timber. Very nice.

Congrats on your little girl. Soon you'll be thinking about a sweet little 20ga for her. LOL.
