Quinte Fishing

After a frustrating opening day, which included getting royally screwed over by a big silver Dodge truck spooking 2 fast approaching Toms less than 100 yards away from us, we were able to harvest this nice Tom this afternoon around 4:30pm.





Day 2 we learned our lesson by NOT setting up within earshot of a backroad and ventured farther into the bush!

Best of luck to those taking part in the spring turkey hunt....I know we're certainly looking forward to filling our last 3 tags!

Great job Chris, glad to see you guys scored. Nice looking bird. The new Supermag looks sweet as well.

Day one was a bust for me up North, saw two hens and lots of deer sign but no gobblers. The woods were quiet. Got snow, sleet and rain up there. Going to try it again later mid week for a few days. If no luck by then I'll hunt on the farm down here.
