Finally manage a bird, had to do it the no finess way. Was heading up to my spot yesturday around 2:30, but when I pulled up the birds where already there. 1 tom and 1 hen. Lucky I was able to duck into woods and sneak up, with some calls I found out that there was more than one hen and 2 toms. Best I could do was about 40 yrds though the woods as they would not come in out of the feild.
Finally got one 9 Inch beard, barely only 2 haris made it that long, 7/" spurs and 20+ lbs since my fish scale stops at 20.

Congrats on the bird. A perfect ending to the trail cam pics. I was out with my little guys today and all I could call over was a hen.
