My cousin Chris made it home from Alberta early this morning for a family gathering and his red eye flight and zero sleep were rewarded with his first ever Tom gobbler.

I was on the call and we only had 1 gun otherwise it might have been the first double I'd have been apart of.

3/4" spurs and a 7-3/4" beard.

It was a great morning for us as my brother in law took a jake 2 fields over.

Hope to see some other photos and stories from the lads in the woods this weekend as the girls have put us to work for the rest of the day.

Congrats again on another Tom. I was out a couple of times but am having more luck calling in hens, deer and coyotes more than anything else. The boys are there gobbling their fool heads off first thing in the morning, but are being very quiet once they hit the ground. So far they have zigged when I zagged...for now.
