2 guys here got one each in Madoc a bull and a cow. I saw pics of the cow but not the bull, I heard he was a good size though. What sucks is the giant one that everyone was talking about was hit by a transport on #7 just over a week ago, baseball bat diam at the bases, he was a giant. I have a picture of him from last year, I'll look for it and post it

My group of 3 for a Cow struck out, but we only hunted 2 days as that was the only time the tag holder had to hunt.

Saw a bunch in the area we hunted pre-season scouting, but if they are on the next property, and they do not allow hunting there, then they are just staying on the next property.

MNR checked us and said not many people were hunting (Wed/Thurs first week).

Friend of mine got a big cow elk. Was interviewed by OFAH and on Angler and Hunter radio.

On the subject of elk, I was through the Wooler swamp last weekend and saw a track that is either a rogue cow or an elk. Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of any elk in there.
