Has anyone tried using these burn sticks? I gave it a whirl and they seem to be a quite a bit overkill IMO, They make a big stink, my son cold smell it from 450 yards from where I was. I had a Doe and fawn bolting towards me and when she got a wiff she stopped dead for a few seconds and bolted the other way. The smoke coming off is as thick as a camp fire. I think I will stick with the traditional liquid scent attractant.

I use them and have 2 packs in the hunting room now. They're best used the day before you go I find, evening time walk in and burn one then leave. The smell like you said is really strong and works great the next day. I actually set them a 100 yards out from where I did and set it in the direction where the wind is blowing at the stand, not saying it's right but it's been good so far. Good luck!
