So me and my best of hunting partner decided to hit the lake in hopes of finding some great hunting action despite the high winds ,rain, snow and freezing ice pellets we had a great afternoon hunt with quite a few birds flying seen lots of buffle heads a few redheads that didn't come close enough to play and some old squaws .There are birds there but not as many as i have seen in previous years but it is still a bit early yet with another few weeks and they should be in full force and i hope to be there too.
