Adult moose applications for a tag.

Well, fellow moose hunters, if there are any of us left, we only have 5 days remaining to submit
Our applications for 1 of the very few tags available for an adult tag in northern Ontario.

Hey Donn

Did not make it up to area 5 last year. No tags available as you know.
Staying down in the South again this year. Area 49. have seen several nice moose over the years here at our deer camp.
hope you get an adult tag, but would not hold my breath.

We talked it over, came up with a plan and applied for 16C this year. Let the waiting game begin...

So glad you decided to do a hunt this year Dave, I hunted 16c a few years ago with 7 natives from the
Red Rock Reserve, we accessed 16c via the Black Sturgeon Road, but you can also go in from the
Armstrong Road. We hunted the shores of Lake Nipigon, in the north west corner of the lake, very, very
Hard hunt, because of the rugged terrain, mostly hills and rockey mountains. Many fire roads in all directions. Better be in good physical condition. Almost a guaranteed kill with an adult tag. Good luck

We usually hunt 15B so we are familiar with the area. But the loggers came in and cut roads everywhere opening up our spots we used to cut trails and canoe back into. The road hunters followed in big numbers and we started seeing less moose so we are moving further north until we reach Wada again.
