Well we managed to round up a few birds in a field that had been shot up already and the cover really sucked and with the northwest wind we had and cover we set up in a little pocket of regrowth and they still wanted to land in the middle of the field so we jumped them and flagged the spots they wanted to land in.We managed to shoot 1 pair of 2 and a 3 pack til 1 other guy showed up that was running a little late.Between him and his friend at the end of the blind setup sounded like pro goose callers and wasn't long til 10 were heading hot and heavy our was we dropped 8 out of the flock to end our evening with 13 total.A great end to a short but sweet season now getting ready for some duck action and soon again goose.
