I see more coyotes out on the ice when i go fishing then when i actually go hunting in the woods or fields for them, i was just wondering if anyone knows if we are allowed to hunt them on the ice or not

Interesting question, I can't think of a reason why not in the right place. One would want to be really careful of the backstop. A bullet could travel and skip a long way across the ice. But on a small back lake with a good backstop in full view would be good.

yes a safe backdrop goes with out saying. i have seen coyote hunting videos on youtube where they were set up on the shore of iced over lake but the ones i saw were from alberta and the states, but have never heard of anyone doing that around here.
