I would like to post a few trails cams on my property to observe wildlife etc. Looking for recommendations on makes and models, the budget is respectable :)
thanks in advance folks!

I threw up one of these https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07G7Z ... UTF8&psc=1 and have enjoyed the results. Put 8 AAA batteries in it back in October and it still shows full battery. I 'think' I put a 32GB sd card in it (maybe 64?) - depending on the resolution and length of video you save it can work through it (after a couple weeks it was full when I was on vacation).

here's a few night time samples

I have a moultrie and stealth. I've had them both quite a few years and they both do pretty good. I do buy the better quality ones.
A couple guys i know have the spypoint that sends pictures directly to their phone and after hearing them talk about it and seeing the results, that will be my next one.

I can add that I have used WildGame Cameras and Steathcams. The WG cam was lower end on clearance at Canadian Tire but worked fine, lasted about 4 years before the seals gave out and moisture/condensation would get inside the camera making every picture look cloudy. The quality of the Stealth cam photos have impressed me but its a higher Megapixel Camera. Battery life was comparable on both depending on the time interval setting and quality of the photos.

Ive been using the Victure Trail Game Camera. The best thing about this trail cam is that it has a night vision motion detector. Its the perfect trail camera for me. If youre looking for more recommendations, you should read this post.

I was at Canadian Tire today and saw these, do not hunt or use game cams but did trip over these.
