Just wondering if there are a lot of birds around and how everyone is making out. Myself, I'm still waiting on the big fella. Been a wet month and I'm finding the birds are not very active

I've been chasing after this guy with the bow. I came really close the first week to getting an arrow into him but then he disappeared on me.

Called in a couple jakes around 5:00 yesterday and after not seeing the tom for a couple weeks, I figured with only a few days left I had better invite one of them for dinner. He'll be going on the pellet stove later this morning and will be the tasty guest of honor.

Yeah, like yourself the Tom's were just teasing me and wouldn't venture close enough for a shot once the season began. Congrats to you! Nice to see that someone got a bird.
