Congrats on the new bow. Mine is quite a few years old now and getting the itch for a new one. Curious to know what arrows and arrow rest you went with.

I asked because over the years I have had deer run because of the arrow dragging across the TM Hunter rest while drawing. I have heat shrink tubing on, but when it is real cold and dead quiet it still makes enough noise.
I also drew one time not realizing the arrow was between the bow and the rest as it had slid over. Needless to say I never got that deer either.

I always wanted to try a whiskers rest. I figured it would be silent and the arrow can't fall off the rest while in the stand. Anyone use one of these?

i had a whisker biscut on my old bow it worked good, and kept the arrow in place, only downfall is i found it made my groups get bigger the farther out i got.

I have shot a prong style rest for years and have no problem being quiet on the draw. You may want to check your knock height as there may be to much down pressure on your arrows. Dave we will have to get together and shoot some time.

hate to tell you this dave but if your shooting left yer sight needs to go right lol best check the center shot your plundger is too far out and thats whats pushing your arrow left assuming your a right handed shooter no plunger if your using a TM hunter everything has to move in closer to the riser in that case. most all my friends have switched over to the whisker biscut much more user friendly under hunting situations shooting from a tree stand. no arrow fall off the rest. im still old school I actually draw the bow back with my fingers lol . but im never gonnna get out to the treestand and have to walk back to get the reliece best way to test that is a paper test using an arrow with no fletches......... how it cuts int the paper will tell you what you need to do if you can tune the bow with no fletches on the arrow just imagin how well it will shoot with fletches on iti still prefure feathers over veins any day but keep in mind im a fingers shooter and need that stability

Chuck when you move the sight to the right it makes you shoot more left. if your shooting left you have to move the sight to the left to make you shoot more right.
