Very nice Catcher. You set the bar high. Those are definitely some nice bucks.
I thought I would share some of my different trophies.
2008 Moose, 58" across, 34 points, he goes without saying.

But after 25 hours of gutting, cutting and slugging to get it back to camp, a hunt like that makes it all of our trophy.

Last day, last half hour. I couldn't get anymore out of a season than that.

Watching my oldest son take his first geese out of the air definitely makes the trophy status in my books.

And having my two youngest sons call these ones in was pretty cool for me. They thought so as well.

And a 14 point for the wall, he has 5 brow tines and one sticker out the left side.

This is it. 12 Point. My guess on weight is 230 lbs. Shot Nov 2 2010. 6:10pm. Near Wooler Swamp.
He is a big boy. Took three of us to load onto 4 wheeler.

Just got my big 12 Point back from Ted Aman (Butcher) in Wellington.

He had a Surprise for me! I took the Big Buck down with a SLUG followed up with Buckshot.

He dropped hard. Dropped him 10 yards from my first shot. Fast Clean Kill.

Well this is what Ted found in the Big boys Spine. He said it was all healed. Must of been in at

least 2 years !!! OUCH.

You can see where Ted cut it with meat his saw!

Here are a few pics of some bucks and birds I was fortunate enough to harvest. The bucks are 8 and 10 point and the birds over 20lbs.

Pretty new to the forum here. I have had the luck to take a couple of nice animals over the last few years. Most notably was the buck I took in 05

Image

my first bear the next year with good friend Adrian Hare.

Image

I was able to help my wife take her first ever bird last spring, bigger than any one I have ever got.

Image

But my biggest joy is being able to share the outdoors with my two boys every chance I can get

My sons first deer and he gets a double! he could of had us tagged out with does on this run, had 5 does and a big buck run out to him on the first run of the first day of the second week!
He ran out of bullets! The fifth doe stood on top of a rock staring at him. Lesson learned, carry a full box with you at all times.
