Just finished my european mount on my 2010 buck. Turned out great! I mounted it on a piece of black walnut.

Very nice. :) looks good , I have always wanted to try that type of mount myself. Was it hard to do??

Its a little smelly and very time consuming but not too hard!

Awesome looking mount.

Its something very easy to do but like you said you pay a price with the smell. I did one for a fellow at our hunting camp a few years ago. Did it out on the base of a turkey cooker in a shallow pot. Found that it worked great and the wind and fresh air provided a little relief in the smell.
Made one hell of a stew....lol... just kidding. 8O
