Quinte Fishing

Hi everyone. I have a Humminbird 570 I believe?? I'ts just the basic portable one, black and white screen. My issue is that the screen is very pixilated and not clear at all. It sort of reads the bottom but not like it used to and I definitely cannot mark fish. This started a few weeks ago, wouldn't read temp either. I reset all the settings when i was out on the water but still same issue. Went to a local bait shop and he gave me a spare used transducer he had. I tried it the folliwng week and the temp reads again but screen still doesn't seem to look right. I'm using the original battery but I have checked it and it reads fine.

Has anybody had anything like this happen to them? I'm not sure if it's the transducer or the actual unit that is having issues?

Is there any way you can take a picture of the screen to see what you are talking about? Those units haven't had any common problems with them so I'd be surprised if it was a screen issue. If you have reset the unit and tried another transducer it is likely something to do with the head unit. Look up Bay Distributors in North Bay as they are the Humminbird service center and great people to deal with.
