which maps are better

I have a garmin legend cx and a Nuvi 550 that i want to get a navionics micro sd card for. Who has the better detailed and map info. That will also work in my units. Garmin Lake View HD, Garmin Lake view HD Ultra, Garmin Blue Chart 2, or the Trak maps complete new version 11 is coming out. My main fishing will be the great lakes and all along the St Lawrence. A little bit in Northern Ontario and Quebec. I don't need anything fancy. I like shading to make it easier to read.

As far as I know the only option you will have is the Garmin G2 chart. The older units will not run the Lake Vu mapping. The G2 will cover all the Great Lakes/St Lawrence. For the northern lakes you can go with a topo map which will provide shoreline detail but no hydrographic info.

Navionics also has some charting available that may work with your unit. Email me directly for some more info.
