Was wondering if I can use the battery charger from my Marcum vs385 camera to charge my Humminbird Ice 45. The input and output numbers on the back of the two chargers are a little bit different. Does this matter??

Thanks

Doesn't matter what the Chargers I/P's are, it's the O/P's that matter. If your battery has a rating of 3500 mahours, a charger must be that (best) or lower, a 3000 mah will not give it a full charge while a 4500 mah will over charge, over heat, and may cause a fire.
Hope this helps
Cheers Rob

The batteries in both units are the original batteries and they don't specify the mA ratings. Only the chargers do. I did however use the charger with the lower mA rating, (700 vs. 1000 mA) and it does bring both batteries to full charge. Both batteries are 12volt/7.2ah, so I would imagine either charger is fine regardless of the numbers.

I mix and match the chargers all the time and have never run into any issues. I've used 7.2amp batteries and 9amp batteries on the same charger with no issues or loss in power.

Thanks Lawren. I didn't think there would be an issue, but just wanted to make sure.
