Hello,

My Garmin Legend Etex handheld GPS has blue lines on the screen when I turn it on, tried new batteries still there. Is there any info on this type of issue? I will try anything as I use this for speed measuring in my canoe or yak.

Thanks in advance,

Pat

Hi Pat

Usually that is the LCD screen itself. Over time the pixel lines won't light up correctly anymore. This doesn't really happen anymore with the newer screens, but older ones (8 years old or so) would see this issue more commonly. How old is your unit? You can try calling Garmin's service center in Canada - Raytech Electronics at 1-888-887-6627.
