Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone new where i could get a replacement transducer for my older hummingbird wide 100. Or would i be better off buying a new portable depth finder.

Thanks

Chris

Get a new one.
Even the most inexpensive one you can find will be 10X the finder compared to your older Humminbird Wide 100.
PiranhaMax 150 Portable - Radioworld - $135
PiranhaMax 160 Portable - Radioworld - $140 (far better deal)
Lowrance Mark-5x DSI Portable - Radioworld - $150 (excellent deal)
All new units with warranty.
May be hard to next to impossible to find a new transducer (Wide 100) anyways and a used one could be problems soon without warranty.

Hey Chris

Take Ricks advice on this one. Anytime you're dealing with a unit more than 5-8 years old its just about always better to buy a new unit. Don't forget those prices he quoted you are before the QuinteFishing.com discount we offer!

The transducer is discontinued for the Wide 100 so we can't get them any longer. Transducers range from about $75-100 so add another $50-75 to that and you have a new unit that will be much more advanced than the Wide 100.

Hey Guys thaks for the advise. I was trying to weight my options and looks like a new one is in order. I really dont need aything special just a depth fider to see weeds and depth. I have a good lowrance unit now just tryig to come up with something for the 14ft tinner for the back lakes at the cottage.

Thanks again, and Lawren I will be shooting you an email in the very near future to see what my options are.

Cheers,

Chris
