Wanted to run the navionics platinum for lake ontario in my unit but see that the map chip is not compatible. What is the next best chip that will run in the 798 for lake Ontario? Thanks

For Eastern Lake Ontario and the Bay of Quinte, the Hot Maps Premium C6 is a great chip that will work with your unit and show you all of the contours that are on the Platinum version for this area.

All you really will lose out on by not being able to use the Platinum is the 3D contour shading and aerial photos. The important data for fishing (ex contours, depths, etc) will be the same on the Premium like Jeff said.
