Just wondering if updating a card has ever resulted in a worse map? I have a hotmaps premium card and would hate to update it and end up with a map like my gold card has of the bay. Hotmaps has way better contours of hay bay.

Also I tried to update my Gold card (hoping that the map would turn out like hotmaps), but it said that there wasn't enough room on my card. I thought this was strange as I have never put anything on the card.

I have never seen a problem like that with Navionics new updating system. You shouldn't lose out on the contour lines that your Hotmaps card has if you update it.

Not sure what is going on with your Gold card there. I can look into it further for you if you want to provide me with some more details, Card Label Info, Files on Card, etc.
