I have DSI transducer cable that is partially severd, can this be repaired or do I have to purchase another?

You really can't repair transducer cables and expect them to work very well afterwards. Once the shielding of the cable is broken its a source for interference to get in and the displays get full of it. If its just the protective black outer cabling that is cut you may be able to seal that up and be ok, but if its the tinfoil looking shielding that is severed then I'd say replace it.
