Hey Lawren....My cord is broken for the battery charger. Do I have to buy a specific Humminbird cord? The cord for my Marcum underwater camera will hook up to the battery on the flasher, but wasn't sure if it will do the job properly and don't want to damage anything.

You can use any brand of the trickle chargers like that without doing any harm. Most companies don't sell the chargers on their own so your only choice to replace it is to buy it with a battery. Never a bad idea to have a spare battery though.

I think I'll just use the Marcum camera cord for now. I get over 12 hours off a full charge, so don't think I need a second battery at this point.
