Simrad has just dropped the price of all their NSS touch screen units. In addition to that there are also mail in rebates on them from Simrad in the range of $150-200 depending on the model which are on until April 6th 2014.
If you haven't had a chance to take a look at these units you owe it to yourself to check them out. Many people don't know that Navico who owns Lowrance also own Simrad so all the features like Broadband Sounder, StructureScan, SonicHub, etc are available on the Simrad units. The autopilot integration on the Simrad is second to none so for serious trollers these units are the ones to look at. My favorite feature of the NSS units is the roto knob on the keypad which lets you move through the menu and make selections extremely quick if you choose not to use the touch screen.
