Radioworld has Dakota lithium batteries and chargers in stock. A 10aH 12v battery is good replacement for typical dry cell batteries for Vexilar, Humminbird and Marcum flashers. They are pricy but give you at least 3 times the runtime and half the weight of a regular battery. There is also a charger available that charges very quickly. BATMAN

Just as an FYI, if you look at the specs of most fish finders it will operate safely at 12-24V ranges. I use my milwaukee M18 batteries for my fish finders and it works awesome. The batteries have clearly marked positive and negative terminals. You just need a spade connector on the fish finder to plug into the battery.
Save money especially if you have M18 batteries already!

If you do a bit of research you would find that an M18 battery comparable to the Dakota 12v 10Ah including a lithium charger is is more expensive just for the battery. Also the M18 battery doesn't fit in any of exiting flasher battery holders. I'm sure You could start your car with an M18 battery but its just another Jerry Rig. BATMAN
