Help needed in finding missing boaters

Wait so no one knows who the second missing person is? He hasn't been reported missing yet? Something doesn't add up here.

I've been thinking that from day one but didn't want to be the one to say it. Everything is just speculation though until facts are learnt .

No Sobys in Trenton ,must mean Fresco by the arena.Does seem strange with no floating debris any where.Hope he turns up safe and sound.

i'm assuming his vehicle and trailer (assuming the small boat had a trailer) was still in the parking lot that he left from?

I actually had the opportunity to talk with the father of the missing fisherman. Not going to say to much but his truck and trailer have been removed from the parking lot. The missing no name friend he was fishing with apparently went to shore in his boat at some point. Only one man missing.

My heart goes out to his family. I hope the mystery of what happened that night comes out so the family can get some closure.

So the way I'm reading your post (please correct me if I'm wrong ) , there was never any boat to look for because its already back along with this Gus or Goose guy ?

So the next obvious question is : what is Gus/Goose's story of what happened to Charlie?

That is correct tint wizard. Only this gus/ goose guy knows what happened.

Hopefully this will become public knowledge someday.

For the record, maybe they should change / update the story officially in the intell so that fisherman are no longer keeping an eye out for a boat somewhere

I agree. Seems to be a lot of miss information on this. It was said his vehicle was at the end of dufferine in trenton when in fact he had launched next to trenton cold storage.

Maybe the Opp are miss leading people as part of there investigation?

Was this an early account of what may have happened?

If the boat returned to shore without charlie why was the point made that there was no debris from an overturned or sunken boat?

Charles Dopking is still missing
It is still an active police investigation
The vehicle and trailer of the other missing fisherman was never located
No debris was found from an overturned or sunken boat
No other person at the moment is reported missing other than Charles Dopking
We are looking for somebody that was fishing Tuesday night as Charles got into the boat with and has never been seen since
They possibly may have been the only one on the water
I believe somebody knows somebody that was fishing Tuesday night
The OPP doesn't want you to focus on the names Gus or goose because it could be something similar
This time of the year the number of fisherman on the water at night is limited so I am hoping somebody can help us out
Keep discussing this among active fisherman on the boq
The OPP are very interested in any information you guys can give us

So we are now under the impression the truck and trailer was "stolen" and not "removed"?

Some more clarity of known information would be useful to the board
