I am thinking of getting a suit for the ice. Any recommendations? Not really sure if it is 100% necessary but better safe than sorry. Should I get a full suit, a two piece, or just a coat?. I picked up a couple rain checks from Canadian tire today as they did not have any Med. of the Keep-A-float that they have on sale in stock. Not sure of the quality of these either. I know someone that owns an Industrial supply company and he told me it is not something they keep in stock but have ordered them in the past. He offered to order me one in at his wholesale cost if I let him know what I would like. I was looking at Mustangs web site as I have a couple PFD’s from them and they have been great, I have been using them for years and they are still like new. Are there any other brands that I should be looking at? I want to be comfortable and warm but also be able to use it in the fall on the open water if I am ever out. I would also rather not be baking on warmer days. Any suggestions on specific models/style would be great.
