Out on Tuesday to take advantage of the low wind - Had a great day boating 9 walleye with 7 between 9 & 11 pounds. Time to leave and my battery is dead and wont start my boat. I get my binoculars out to see who is fishing in the area. I see PB&J Charters and the phone number on the side of the boat. I give Joe a quick call and explain my situation - he has a portable power pack and will be right over he says. It worked great and we were able to make it back to the launch safe. A huge thanks to Joe from PB&J Charters for taking the time out of his day to help a fellow fisherman.

Just ask first and don't try to steal that sandwich...

Glad that he got you boosted and back safe. Good call on the booster pack, Joe. It's much easier to pass it over then fumble with booster cables, especially in a chop.

Good stuff. I personally carry a set of cables and have boosted the starting battery with the trolling motor battery. Saved myself a couple of times with this advice I was give about 12 years ago, figure it's good info to share here.

Joe is a class act all the way! Always willing to help out fellow anglers!
I never leave home without my battery pack!
Charges my phone/GoPro's and can boost batteries if needed! Priceless tool.

a class guy for sure... unless you lower your rod tip when on the best fish of the day, then there is no lunch, let alone a sandwich... I still think the snap was upside down hence the lost fish...lol
