Lol. First off I was actually very calm and collected and asked if he'd mind moving 10 yards in the outside if our circle... I said we were filming and we were trying to keep the little area we had for camera crew etc he was the one who flipped his whig and got nasty and then proceeded to do the same thing two weeks later... Secondly Follow the leader really? C'mon its called courtesy all you have to do is give a guy reasonable space it's not like we had a two mile area blocked off at best we had 15 yards between huts And lastly Come find me on the ice we can debate further if you like. I'm pretty easy to spot.

exactly it's called courtesy if you come up on someone fishing a hump or what ever, ask, strike up a convo with the people chances are they'll be more then welcome to let you dangle a bait. if not move on. I tell you alittle common courtesy go's along way, not only to catch fish but to make friends

My 0.02 cents are you did the right thing by telling him to move on. The Bay is huge and there is no reason for anyone to park his butt right on top of your set. BTW the show was great, I enjoyed the entire hour.

See you on the ice.

The Champ is a Luhr Jensen product which is owned by Rapala.

No problem, Tim. It's a staple bait for Quinte hardwater for sure.

Do they own the B.O.Q ?
We all know its follow the leader when fishing out there .
If they were at a community spot with public access, would he say the same thing ?

LMAO!
It's only "follow the leader" when you can't find/catch fish on your own! And judging by your post, you're one of those "followers".

I personally know all that were involved and they are class acts all the way.
As stated numerous times in this thread already... its common sense/courtesy to give anyone on the ice some space.

I loved the show...

And Joe... They way you acted made me ant to go fishing with you even more... Lol... The rod throw... Asking the guy to take a hike.... I love it and I love that you were cool with showing that side of yourself to everyone... That takes guts....

I have had some run ins before as well... A few the police were involved for different reasons.... Never any violence... People parking in (literally) the boat launch eating a sandwich while I'm trying to launch around them... People coming to fish a hole I'm in then Give me a hard time about how the way I'm fishing is screwing them.... Even had a guy give me a hard time because while he was trying to follow me I ran some skinny, rocky water so he wouldn't follow.. He actually made me sound like the jerk... Then stop following me!!!..lol

I personally think more anglers need to show some fishing "common courtesy" when heading out on the ice for sure. Each hole is a cast and we need to remember these fish are only 15-20 ft down in a good portion of the bay and these fish hear everything so most of is local anglers know this get our panties in a bunch when there is a lot of noise close by in peak periods.
I personally think the biggest problem I see day in and day out is most of the problems are not from locals but the people from the city who are used to fishing on top of each other on bodies of water like simcoe and that's not the way we fish down here!
I think for the most part most of the guys on the ice once confronted usually move off a bit but for those who do come in too close I've seen a few donuts done around them while they attemp to fish.
Just sayin keep ur distance and respect those who are out ahead of you!

Paul
