Steve - where were you fishing? Out the harbour towards Glenora? Green Lund wearing yellow and blue survival suit?

How did you make out? We were working the same area - running up into the wind and trolling back down. Did you notice a change in the average size fish over the couple of days? We were in the older model princecraft. Wednesday to Saturday were pretty good - but we were having difficulty finding the fish on Sunday.

all the fish i caught in one general area were from same age class 9-14lb, most 11 to 13 lb, really nice fish, the 2 i caught nearer cplant where lots of boats were , were smaller 9 or 10lbs, the wind slowed in after and i changed the way i was trolling and i think i was either going to fast or too slow and maybe up to high, if i get the fish too quickly in am i lose concentration sometimes and don't adjust when i should hope some of this helps...

How deep do you think you were running? - we were hitting fish in the 4 -7 lb range, probably in the top 10 - 15ft of the water column, our deeper line - probably running around 20+ wasn't getting any action at all. Tried to keep the speed between 2.2 and 2.5, but sometimes that was difficult in the wind.

i think i was catching most fish down 15 to 22 feet, trolling about 2mph, and they were all from same year class it seemed, my school got a lot of traffic after awhile partly as i wasn't too subtle in what i was doing and i didn't adjust properly to this.

I know what you mean about traffic - Wednesday to Friday were really nice not alot of boats in the area. We spent 80% of the 4 days we were up fishing the same area. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it back up until the 14th,15th of December. What lures/colours were you using? If you don't want to post - fire me an e-mail cx_mark@hotmail.com and I'll reply with same.
