Hi guys

Just got back from a four day trip.
The Great, was one of our best trips ever.
Weather was great. Walleyes were firing on all cylinders all day and night. Are group got over 50 eyes. All were on the smaller side this year from 1/2 to 3.5lb.s. Must have been an awsome spawn 2 years ago.
They were all in there typical post spawn spots .

The ugly, the last night, after catching 6 eyes, had a very solid hit that ripped some line, the fish got off. No sooner set the rod back in the holder and WHAM! A couple of head shakes and my 10lb Power Pro starts peeling off the spool. By the time my partner got his line in and the boat turned to go after it, I only had a few feet of line left. I told my partner that this was no walleye, it had to be a musky. After about 10 minutes, the battle we got the beast to the boat and got the flash light on her. To our shock, we were staring at a huge walleye that was about 36 inches and as big around as a fence post. We just stood stunned at the shear size and the fact that the net was far to small. I even considered lipping her to hold it in the net but a mouthful of sharp hooks changed my mind. my buddy decided to try the net only to have the fish arch it's body, twist it's head caught the lure on the net and away she went.

Unbelievable sized fish. Biggest walleye I have ever see, Far bigger then my 12.6lb eyes from 12 years ago.
At least I got to see the fish.

Speed
