Where did you go in the BOQ area and how was the fishing? Please only report the area and not where you stayed, who's boat you rented & who's private brand of lure you used.

Well only went out in my buddies boat on Sat, only lasted a few hours, forgot the sun screen now I'm red from head to toe. Just acrossed the bay from Meyers Pier tried out in front of Cow Island, didn't even get a bite.

Thought I'd try off shore from Meyers Pier on Sunday for some Pickrel or Pike through on a Little Cleo Spoon I've had a lot of success with this year catching pickrel. Got a hit and my eyes lit up I though for sure I was having Pickrel for dinner, but to my surprise when the fish broke water it was a Cat Fish! 9 lbs, put up one of the best fights I've ever had. Let him go, though I'd switch to an immitation perch threw it in and wham! Another cat fish, this one just over 5 lbs, he went home with me.

Now, does anybody have any good ways of cleaning these suckers, I've never tried myself before.

Pig Farm/Hay Bay, off ram island, trolled chartreuse worm harnesses and chartreuse blue fox vibrax tipped with nightcrawlers (#3's). Friday caught several small walleye, none bigger then 1.5lbs.

Saturday, same thing but the fish were a lb or two heavier? Some nice looking fish, all released. 1 caught across from perfect vu, 4lb (biggest of the weekend), can't remember the name of the point? mid day pike on frenzy's, lucky strike spinner baits, smithwick rouge (orange+brown), 1 30"er caught on a Mann's stretch 20 dr.death
