Hello Everyone. First Off I would Like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and Wonderful New Year. I am posting this today to let you all know that I have been Under the Weather for a week or so and have not been able to get to the Ice or Fish. I know that many of you look forward to some of us guys here on the forum for Ice Reports and good Fishing Spots but I have not been able to provide much info so far this year. Many of our out of town friends rely on this info to plan there outing and I apologize for not being more helpful this season as I love to help a fellow out. I will do my best to get some info on here as soon as I can but if you plan to head out this weekend PLEASE play it safe with Spuds, Flotation, Picks, Rope, Buddy etc etc.. Today here in the County is Mild with Rain and the past two days have been Mild as well. The weekend looks like continued Mild with rain, snow and freezing rain so it could be a game changer for sure. Keep an eye out on the Forum here for information from others that get out often and give reports. I am not posting this to keep you away i am doing this to try and help you all make a safe or better choice....Play Safe Folks... Fred...

First of all Fred I hope you get well soon so you can get some fishing in.Also ty for everything you have done to help others that live far from the bay with the ice info. And Chris ty for your info. also. I had the chance to meet you last year at the farm and walked out on the ice and fish about 100 yards or so from each other. Later in the morning you came over to ask me what time it was . You also said something that has helped me be more successful and had the best year with PB . For that I thank you bud. Keep up the great work guys we depend on you for are safety. Tight lines guys . ..Simon...

Not to hyjack this post but I will be new to the hardwater bay fishing this season and have been keeping watch here. Very much appreciated to all the locals who post conditions. This past summer I spent a lot of time on the Bay with bass tournies and can't wait to hit the hardwater. When I do it will probably be Deseronto or Hay Bay as it is the closest for me coming from Kingston. Thanks again guys!!

Rick

Fred that is very kind of you!!!!
Although I havn't been able to get out to Quinte for a few years (not from a lack of trying), I enjoy reading the reports and especially seeing pictures of the awesome walleye you guys & girls catch.
Thanks guys for taking the time to help others out!

Stop staring out the window Fred. Just sit there a while and get better. Once that happens we'll look forward to seeing you on the ice sometime.

Dont push yourself to get out until you are feeling 100%.
