I rec'd this from a friend and thought the board would enjoy seeing the ice tsunami.

I don't think I have ever seen anything as weird as this.
Really creepy
Have you ever seen ice tsunami?
It happened on the south side of Lac des Mille Lacs, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, on May 11, 2013! It destroyed more than 20 homes

WOW that is really something to see. It's like a glacier moving over land. Was waiting for a wooly mamoth to pop out. lol

I can remember something similar when growing up on Lake Erie. The lake was full of huge ice floes when a winter storm hit during the night. The next morning some of these huge ice floes were found a couple of hundred yard from the waters edge and any and all cottages that were in their way, were simply cut off at their foundations and moved away. You quickly learn a lot of respect for mother nature.
