I'm 5'9 200lbs and wear an XL...you might be alright with a Large. I have about $100,000 worth of beer invested in my gut, so I needed the XL.....lol The suit may seem a bit long in the legs, and big in the body, but once you put your boots and a sweater on, it's not bad. Different name brands also fit differently, so I definitely wouldn't buy one without trying it on first.
Sizes may be picked over now, so they may be hard to find. Maybe wait till next year, and start looking in September/October.
Not trying to promote Big Box Stores, (Sail,BPS...etc) but they usually have a bigger selection and a wider variety of sizes.

Hope this helps

I'm 6'5" and close to 300. I have no problem getting one to fit around me, my problem is getting one where the sleeves don't end at my elbow and the crotch in the leg doesn't stop halfway between my knees and my crotch. I look like a 300lb red penguine walking......
That's exagerated a bit, but you get the picture.

merry Christmas/Festivus, happy new year to all

There's a place up the 400 called Royal Distributing (if any are out that way)...you can pick up good deals on snowmobile flotation suits (that maybe last years model)...a buddy whose only about 160 and smaller than the average guy bought flotation gear and paid way less than what was the normal price...and there's a variety of sizes available...last year I got flotation bibs for $100 and I'm 5'10 230 lbs...all I have underneath is jeans and am warm as can be...check it out if you go that way...

I'm about the same and I have a medium Heely Hansen Alpha float suit. It is big but not too big. Room to grow. I got it at Fishing World in Hamilton. Medium is the size for you.
