Since I live 4.5 hours away I only make it to Quinte 4-5 times a year and never been there for early ice. We'll this will not be the last time! I was fortunate enough to meet up with my buddies from Quinte Hard Water Specialists and they were able to keep us on fish the whole time! The first day I never moved from my spot. There was a consistent bite all day long due to the snowy conditions. Then at 410 the bite turned on like I have never seen it on Quinte. I landed over 10 fish in the last hour and I could hardly keep the buckshot in the water! My biggest fish of the day was about 5 lbs so no hogs but lots of fun. Day 2 we started out in the same area. The fishing was good again as we landed close to 20 between 3 of us by 130 biggest being 7.1. Then we decided to pack it up and go to a spot known to produce hogs in the early season. I started out marking and catching 2-3 lbers right away. Then right before dark this spot didn't disappoint! There was a couple hogs landed! The pictures are in the video here. This is the first time trying to Go Pro some ice fishing so hopefully you guys enjoy!
Overall for the two days I landed over 30 fish myself and we landed well over 50 fish between the group of us with a couple of trophies!! I think it's safe to say Quinte Hard Water Specialists knows how to put you on fish!! Here's the link to the footage
