hey there guys we know it our own responsibility to check the ice on our way out but could anyone give me a guestamation on the ice at george st

i suspect its as it is in most places anyware from 5 - 8inch,now im just saying im guessing.i was at bakalite and herchimer just the other day,not fishing just walking with my children.but i saw a bunch off herchimer,and down the way towards the pier i saw a bunch.i would guess its ok but safty first buddy up or spud now and then.personally im going to try to get out herchimer/george st hopefully tomorow ...key word is try

its fine at george as of yesterday..watched several atvs go out..i heard a dodge pickup drove out off herchimer towing a perm hut on 29th. last night at potters there was 8-10inch and the ice sounded like a thunderstorm !

was out there today had 9 inches of ice 4 inches of whit 5 of hard ice
