I've got a new rapala tundra 51cc auger, used it last Sunday with no issues. I've tried unsuccessfully to start 2nite & planning (was) on fishing tmw. Any suggestions, thanks much.

well hope this helps, start with simple easy to check things first like making sure all switches and fuel is turned on, gas cap vented etc, and what was done last like it was just filled with fuel/oil and then work harder, being new i hope it's something like snow or ice plugged the gas cap vent or something. it's either spark, fuel/air or compression. pull the spark plug cap off and remove the plug, put the cap back on and ground the plug to the motor and give it a pull to see if there's spark, if spark is there it most likely is a fuel problem which can be anything from a plugged cap in the fuel tank, bad gas or a carbureator problem, i usually spit a TINY bit of gas from the tank into the spark plug hole put the plug back in and give it a pull if it fires for a sec u know it's a fuel problem.

Two guesses, if ya filled it back up and now it does not work, its the fuel, drain and start again. Silly, I know, but check the wire on the on/off switch, And last, 5 pumps on the primer bulb, choke full and pull. If it turns over, choke off, do not pump primer again. Mine always starts second pull

good luck

New.....Try describing what's going on in a little more detail. First post said it wont start, last post said it wont turn over (do you mean it's seized ?). Not enough info....Will the engine turn over when you pull out the pull cord? If so do you get any response (almost starts, coughs, ect, ect..... can you smell gas, is there a spark (when you test for one,) after pulling several times, is the sparkplug (once removed) wet, dry, ect.ect.ect.
