I got out for a quick fish today for 1.5 hours and ended the day with this beauty northern. I was quite nervous when i hooked it and felt the weight because i only use 8lb test and i wasn't running a leader. It was the first time i was pulling up on a fish and it just felt like there was a boulder on the other end. Its a fish i will never forget.

nice fish....video had me on the edge of my seat with first attempt to land it.

Awsome fight, funny how the water was muddy when you were landing it. She must have been dogging it rite to the bottom.

That's funny how you mentioned the muddy water. When i brought the pike up there was mud all over the place including my flasher. Yes im guessing that fish was holding right in the mud for sure.
