Quinte Fishing

Went to Sherman’s this afternoon, busy spot, most amount of vehicles I’ve seen there in 3 years. Walked out aways and set up. Soon as I sat down at 330 I hit 3 in a row, jumbos. Then around 430, I caught 2 eyes, one about 2 lbs and the other smaller than the perch. 22 FOW and eyes were caught on a buckshot and jumbos on small gold champs with minnow heads. Talked to a few at the launch when I got back and a few skunks except for perch.

Hey Tim, we were out there too, had good luck in 25FOW we caught 10 between noon and 4pm. I have had my best luck this year around noon to 3pm while most people are off the ice. Our top lure was a green swedish pimple.

Its sooo rare for a day bite gota love it tho

Out again today Jan 8th, Rob you were right, I iced 6 between 330 and 415, 3 hogs, biggest was 10.4lbs, buckshots for all. Few lookers after that till dark but no takers.
