Quinte Fishing

Planing my first Quinte hardwater fishing trip mid Jan & need info for ice access.
Found 2 ice access on east side of the reach, one near Thompson' point & other one
further up north, halfway up the reach.
Still looking for an access on the west shore near Green point, (near submarine cables)
looks like private land everywhere..... Can anuyone help ?
Is it usually safe to cross the reach near green point mid january ?
(Might have an ATV but more then likely be on foot....

There are very few access points on the county side , and land owners along the reach are ,,,,,well not approachable , Quick short road is a public road posted private by people that live there but they can't stop you from using it , you may want to stay away from that area as parking is an issue , talk to the bait shop on river road they have permission to use the hydro line access , but I believe that crosses private land also , Huff's rd is your best bet but be very careful of the ice around the cables and Green point area can get really bad in a hurry underwater springs and current makes it tricky
