Ice augers with the motors above the ice bother fish yet boat motors with the exhaust below the water don't when you troll????? Doesn't make sense but the noise does get to me, sharpen the dam blades already, it should not take 12 minutes to drill through 10 inches of ice. :lol:

LOL... 12 minutes with dull blades is still better then 1/2 hour with an axe or spud...hate that when you're on fish and some1 comes along and bang bang bang geeeeeez man go buy a dull auger please...Simon...

you know that's the bitch about being there first. you set yourself up to be boxed in lol I usually always go later then I can go away from not flock to or be stuck in the middle of the pack lol . now tell me that dosnt make perfect sense to someone??

I agree Grizz. If I'm going out for the night bite, I usually set up around 1 p.m. Around 3 oclock the troops start coming out and setup the tent city. Same thing at 6 a.m for the morning bite. I gotta stop going early...lol
Just a heads up for everyone...if you want to catch fish, setting up close to me is not a good choice 8)
